Obscure Horror films you need to see

Hey guys and ghouls! This is you old pal Stabby McKnife here, give me your soul! Naw but sup? Hows it going gore fans? Really? You don't say. Moving on.

Here are some obscure horror movies you should see because even though you may or may not be aware of their existence....you should be aware that they are fuckin good. Here we go:

1. Twixt

starring: Val Kilmer and Elle Fanning

why you should care: This film is super creepy. Imagine a film set in a small town that is mostly known for two things: edgar allan poe visiting a local hotel there back when he was alive and for mysterious dissapearances and vampiric activity.

Not sold yet?: go fuck yourself. It's good. take my word for it.

2. Laid to rest

starring: unknown actors

why you should care: this low budget slasher flick is fun and original. The kills are interesting and the killer is unique. super entertaining.

not sold yet?: most horror hounds like me enjoy when a good horror film becomes a franchise. Laid to rest is one! It has a sequel called "Chromeskull: Laid to rest 2". Yeah. shitty title but it's a good movie as well and it has Danielle Harris in it. She is always good.

3. Feast

starring: Jason Mewes (in a cameo roll), Clu Gulager, unknown actors

why you should care: This movie is fucking excellent. Written by horror guru's Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton (Saw 4-7, The Collector, The Collection) this movie was way too much fun. Awesome explicit gore, monster violence, gruesome comedy, and a monster FUCKS A GIRL IN THE FACE AND SPLOOGES IN HER MOUTH AND THEY SHOW IT FOR SOME REASON! obviosly the film is unrated. If it were rated it would probably be rated X or NC-17.

4. Cube

starring: unknown actors

why you should care: this movie is a lot of fun. Imagine Saw type booby traps set inside of a sky scraper sized rubix cube. The characters move from room sized cube to cube trying not to die...but of course they do in super elaborate ways. The only way out is to figure out the puzzle of how the mysterious cube works. fun stuff.

not sold yet: eat a dick. this is considered by many to be a horror classic.
