Must see Modern Horror Hits

You have now entered the mind of Stabby McKnife. Proceed with caution. Sup Boils and Ghouls? Long time no talky. I've got more horror shit to peddle. I've heard loads of questions lately about what modern horror films are "must see horror". Good question. Since I fucking love lists I'll start with a list and then I'll give a few reasons why some of the better entries on the list made the list. AND HERE.....WE.....GO! MODERN HORROR MUST SEE MOVIES:

Let's start with the best movie on this list: The Cabin in the Woods. Holy shit this movie is cooler than eskimo shit. I love it. It truly is a modern day horror classic. Written by Joss Whedon (Firely, Serenity, The Avenger's) and directed by first time director Drew Goddard who was known for writing on (Lost and Cloverfield). They knocked it out of the park.

The story is full of more twists than an old whore's pubes. The character's are more likeable than Jesus. The plot can't really be discussed for fear of spoilers but I'll say this simplistic statement about it: "Cabin in the woods is about a group of college kids heading up to a cabin in the woods for a fun vacation. But when they arrive strange incidents begin to occur and characters controlling things start to reveal evil intentions.

If you enjoy a smart, complex, rich storyline full of action, suspense, fun character's and a lot of heart. (also lots of gore an violence) than this homage to 80's horror is for you.

The Collector is genuinely scary. The basic premise is a thief breaks into a large home he had been casing to steal a valuable jewel from a safe. But when he breaks in he unwittingly steps into a home full of booby traps set up by a deranged serial killer who likes to collect his victims.

Tucker and Dale vs Evil was hilarious. It was the funniest horror comedy since Shaun of the Dead. If you like hilarious redneck humor, hot girls, bloody violence and just a fun film to watch this is for you.
